MOUNTAIN BIKING

Departing from OZ by gondolas or free bus service.
Between 720 m and 3330 m altitude, there are 200 kms of downhill mountain bike track :
15 downhill tracks ;
9 cross country trails

Walks and visits

Access by gondolas.
2100 m altitude : the lakes trail, 2 restaurants are situated on this walk ;
2700 m altitude : lakes trail ;
3300 m altitude : panoramic views of the Alps, orientation table ;
Alpe d’Huez : international resort, famous stage of the Tour de France.

Lake and river activities

In the heart of the mountains on the Verney Lake you can appreciate the scenic views from a pedalo, also windsurfing and children’s sailing school.
Higher up in the montains fishing enthusiasts can try their skills, alone or with a fishing guide.

Canyoning is another sport offered by the local guide office, a descent in some of the mountain streams and rivers.

From OZ the Poutran and Alpette gondolas give easy access to walkers and mountain bikers
