A small village within a large ski domain
The Grandes Rousses massif occupies the terrain of 7 communes: Alpe d'Huez, Auris, La Garde, Le Freney d'Oisans, Oz en Oisans, Vaujany and Villard Reculas.
The lift system is modern and efficient and allows access from 1300 metres to the summit of Pic Blanc at 3330 metres where you can view one fifth of France and a number of important mountain peaks including Mont Blanc.

Villard Reculas' ski area
Villard Reculas has its own slopes situated in Alpine meadows to the north of the village at 1500 metres. The piste's are west facing and are ideally suited for the young and beginners to learn and practice in a quiet, safe and peaceful environment.
7 ski lifts cover 20 kilometres of piste's for all abilities, and the village domain provides a much reduced ski pass for either a day or a longer stays.
