ACTIVITES à OZ

After the effort, time to relax !

Rest, food and entertainment. At Oz-en-Oisans priority is given to enjoying yourself. After skiing, you can go sledging or ice skating, or climbing on the indoor wall. The tourist offi ce organises activities such as torchlit, snowshoe walks, table tennis, snow football, snow rafting and recent fi lms. You may want to relax with friends having a drink and a raclette. In this case you can choose a bar or restaurant in the resort.

D esire to have fun, desire to feel warm, to win, to dream... every desire is allowed in OZ and the activity team will do their best to satisfy yours.

After-ski recreation and evening

Trampoline and snow football, nighttime skiing and descents by torchlight, with warm wine, movies, ancestral games... our activity programme is varied, dynamic and open to all.

Climbing

Recently built and offering a wide choice of routes for all levels, Oz's climbing wall is available to you freely. Come with your gear and call the Tourist Office.

Ice rink

Opening times : all afternoons. Evening skating : twice a week. Free with VISALP skipass

Snowshoe outings

An ephemeral star, some unknown footprint, silence...the mountain is a lot more than the mere pleasure of skiing... Magical, but undescribable. To understand its mystery it has to be approached and lived in. In winter, snowshoe walks are the ideal way to leave behind the beaten tracks and to really discover the environment.

V ery simple of use, the snowshoe is a walking accessory that is ideally suited to walking in fresh snow. Take a good pair of boots and choose one of the routes suggested by the Tourist Office.

Mountain instructors regularly organize day or nighttime outings.

Home of the deer, the hare and the chamois, the forest of OZ is the place for snowshoe walks and the discovery of nature.

Pedestrian walks

Walkers can explore the Grandes Rousses massif, enjoy its sun and exceptional panoramas. That can be achieved with the gondola lifts that start from Oz and enable the skiers and non-skiers :
to access the altitude of 2000m and marked pedestrian trails, altitude restaurants and nordic skiing tracks
to visit the ice cave (2700 m)
to admire one of the most beautiful panoramas in the Alps from the Pic Blanc summit (3330m)
to go to l'Alpe d'Huez (ice-rink and swimming-pool free with the Visalp ski- and nordic skiing/pedestrian pass sold in Oz)

Parapente

You could hang-glide in company with qualified instructors. Two-seaters hang-gliding on the Massif des Grandes Rousses.
